This option can only be viewed when you are using the time registration module.
When the time registration module is used, this menu item will appear under ‘master data’ in the menu. In this menu item, it is possible to add activities. These activities can be linked to time registrations.
When your company uses time registration, you can use the activities to link them to manual time registrations, which can be done by your employees under ‘Time registration’ ⇒ ‘Calendar’ in the menu on the left.
Go to ‘Master data’ ⇒ ‘Activities’. Select ‘insert’; the following screen will appear:
A window will appear in which you can add a name, and where you can check two boxes. The third box ‘used in synchronization’ cannot be checked.
- Standard: This should only be checked for one of the activities. This is the activity that will appear first, as a default, when hours are registered into the system. If this is not the right activity, another one would need to be selected by the employee.
- At office: This box needs to be checked in case this activity takes place at the office. It follows that other activities take place at home or at another location.
- Used in synchronization: This activity is linked to the passes system, should you have chosen to work with it. When an employee uses the pass to punch in, this activity will be attributed to it. Contact the support desk if something needs to be altered with regard to an activity which is used for the passes terminal.
