Recalculate balance

After you have changed something in an existing employment or contract, this is also applied with a retroactive effect. Therefore, it is important that the balance of your employees is recalculated.

This can be done in two way. You can recalculate the balance of individual employees, or all of them at the same time.

  1. To recalculate the balance of one individual, go to ‘Overview’ ⇒ ‘Employee balances’ and select the name of the employee in question. In the screen that appears, select the correct year, and then select ‘Recalculate balance’.
  2. To recalculate the balance of all employees at the same time, go to ‘Settings (gear icon top right)’ ⇒ ‘Master data’ ⇒ ‘Fiscal years’. In the screen that appears, select the correct year, and then select ‘Recalculate balance’. By using the drop down menu next to ‘Employees’, you can also select an individual employee for whom you’d like to recalculate the balance.

By viewing the calculation, you can see if the data is correct.
