Example message to employees informing them about the new login

Dear employee,

LeaveDays and the GDPR
You’ve probably heard about it by now: from the 25th of May, a new law with regard to data protection comes into effect, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This law prescribes several security demands for processors of data. This means that certain changes are going to occur in your surroundings, because parties who process your information are strengthening their security levels, or changing their terms and conditions. Our leave registration application LeaveDays, as a processor of information, will also have to abide by this law.

Registration
In the near future, you will see a different login page when you go to your LeaveDays website (companyname.leavedays.com). Even though you are already a user of LeaveDays, you will have to complete a short registration procedure. In a nutshell, you will need to enter your current login details, and then enter new ones. Your new username has to be at least 4 characters, and must be unique. Your password should contain at least 6 characters, one upper case character, one lower case character, one digit, and one special character. Follow the instructions on the screen, and you should be done with the registration in no time!
